Why your family is missing your lake, and why you should care
Fullerton, CA – When you’re a kid, you always thought you’d play in a lake.
When you get older, you start to realize that there are so many lakes in your neighborhood that aren’t even open yet.
And you have no idea where they are.
Now that you’re older, however, you might not know where you live.
You probably think your lake is in a remote area, or you might be living in a big city or big suburb where there are a lot of lakes.
But when you get old and have to get back to your roots, you’re going to find that it’s not as easy as you thought.
So if you want to live in a place where lakes are open, you have to find your own place to go.
It’s not easy.
That’s why the U.S. Forest Service is creating a new Lake Ranger Certification Program that aims to help people navigate their own neighborhoods and find new places to play.
And that’s why this month we’re highlighting a few of the best places in your community to start.
