When Dog Agility Course Wasn’t the Solution
This is the second of a two-part series exploring the origins of dog agility courses, which gained popularity in the United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The first part of the series was written in the early 2000s by David Wojcicki, a professor of education at the University of Southern California, and included an interview with an author who described a class at a boarding school in rural Virginia in the 1890s.
The second part of that series was published in 2009, and was written by Sarah Jones, who is the author of the book Dog Agility Training.
Jones is a well-known voice in the field of dog training and education, having authored several books about dog behavior, and has written several articles for various media outlets about dog agility training.
During the 2016 election cycle, Jones became the spokesperson for Trump, and had an opportunity to speak at the 2016 Republican National Convention, where she gave an interview about her views on the importance of dog education.
I had the opportunity to talk to Sarah about how dog agility is so closely tied to the political world, and how she sees a lot of dogs today being misused and abused, including by people who are in positions of power.
Sarah: What did you learn from working at boarding schools in the 1800s?
Jones: When I was in boarding schools, they were really a part of our culture, and we had to be respectful of each other.
The schools were basically private homes.
You had to treat your dogs like humans, and if they were disrespectful, you would just have to call the police.
So if they did something bad, it was their fault.
So when they came in to the boarding school, they had to behave properly.
I remember one time, when they were at the boarding house, they would sit in a circle, and they would all take turns and be the center of attention.
So you were in charge of this circle.
It was really a very respectful environment.
I think the whole time, people were just trying to be nice and respectful.
It’s not a very good situation, and I don’t think that’s the way that we’ve ever treated dogs in America.
But it was an environment where they were just human beings and you had to respect that.
So it’s not like they were supposed to be fighting each other, or they were doing anything to get the attention.
What is the origin of dog control programs today?
Jones : I don’ t know.
I don t think that was the way it was before the 1900s, when it was just dogs getting along.
But as the dog population increased, and the breeding population increased and the population of dogs became bigger, I think that dog control was very important to keep the population at that level of density.
If we did anything different, there was no way that they would continue to be able to breed.
And so I think they were able to manage the population through the 1900-1910 period.
When did the American Kennel Club begin to promote dog agility?
Jones = I think it started in the 1960s.
I was actually in the US Congress, when the Kennel Clubs of the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates started working together to do research on dog agility.
So it was sort of a partnership between these two groups, and Kennel clubs in the U.S. started sponsoring dog agility programs.
How did you become interested in dog training?
Jones= I got interested in training because I was a big dog, and one of my biggest challenges was having trouble keeping a dog that big.
So I was really interested in working with small dogs, and also having them be trained in some of the traditional dog exercises that people had seen in the boarding schools.
I thought, why can’t we get them to understand how to do these things?
And that led to my interest in working at the Dog Agility School, where we started to train them to be trained.
Why did you decide to write a book about dog training in the 21st century?
Jones Because I feel like there are so many people who feel like dog training is really outdated.
And there are many people, especially people who don’t necessarily have a dog, who think that dogs have to be bred and trained.
But I think we have to look at dog training as a modern thing.
Dogs are intelligent, and there are some breeds that have the best potential to be intelligent.
So there are also some breeds, like the American Pit Bull Terrier, that have some of those characteristics that are very, very appealing to people, and people are very attracted to those breeds.
And those are the breeds that we really want to train and care for, because they are intelligent.
And we have a lot more work to do to educate people and make sure that we have the right dog, because if we don’t have the proper breeds, it’s really going to be a disaster. Are
